Since the dawn of time, women have felt the scrutiny of the patriarchal imbalance that White supremacists and colonial constructs created. Recently, times have progressed, yet women still face the scrutiny of this patriarchal imbalance within and outside of their respective societies. Consequently, one woman, nay creative thinker, comes to mind when demolishing the imbalance of the patriarchy by reciprocating the negative energy men give her. While some may call Drew a misandrist, those people aren't actually listening to her voice.

Drew was born on September 18th, 1995, in Santa Ana, California as a woman of color whose ethnic and racial origins stem from the Somoan group of Polynesians. While Drew is already impressive for her work attacking misogyny by replying to horrible men with the same energy they give her by " taking a joke," she also attended the University of Hawai'i and completed two degrees and several certificates about the History of Pacific Islander people. Despite being a woman of many swords, Drew is kind, smart, creative, and, most importantly, human. Moreover, Drew grew her fame through Tik Tok and progressed her following and love to a weekly show called The Comment Section. While Drew is not dead yet, her name will go down in notoriety. In Drew's weekly show, she dismantles whether women have to stay within the binary of the patriarchy. Drew explains the seemingly complex nature of dismantling gender roles and showcases how we as a society do not have to let misogyny control and interject through our lives. (Famous Birthdays 1)

Conversationally, Drew is known to produce Misogyny takedown videos. On one particular video on Drew's Tik Tok page, a comment or criticized Drew for making videos insulting misogynistic men as her job. However, Drew quickly responded using the song Major Bag Alert by the Milo's and DJ Khalid (Afaulo 0:00- 0:10). This is ultimately amazing and signifies her impact on the community. Moreover, She actively works against the patriarchy and shows how a woman, especially a woman of color, can profit off the tools meant to put her down. This is important to all girls and children, and especially people of color children, as, throughout the media, people who identify as a person of color are constantly disregarded or used to fulfill a stereotype under the lens of the patriarchy. Seeing someone the patriarchy would not normally recognize as a significant step out against how it affects them has become inspiring. Thus, Drew has broken the barrier for not only Asian and Pacific Islander women but women who struggle with their own insecurities regarding the patriarchy and how it disenfranchises them. Drew exemplifies that we do not have to let other people break us down, that we can find peace in who we are, and that if we allow others to be educated on their problematic behaviors, we can achieve a greater standard of living.

Through my research of Drew and how she has changed the game for women of color, who want to dismantle the patriarchy, I have found that Drew is more than a Tik Toker. Drew is a woman of multi-faceted talent who takes the time and consideration to ensure that women, especially women of color, do not have to succumb to the misogyny and discrimination h that comes from being a woman of color. Drew is an intellect, an individual who inspires, and more importantly, the definition of a modern-day feminist.
