Behind her Eyes Review

The weekly Review

' Behind Her Eyes ' was a tv show that made you feel like you were on a never-ending rollercoaster, and when it ended, you just stood shitless by what an incredible show it was. The show was such a mind-fuck for it only to be a limited series. I stand by that statement, but there were parts I didn't particularly like. The show's basis is about a single mother having an affair with her boss while trying to be friends with her boss's wife, which only scratches the storyline's surface. The character that is the single mother is Louise Barnsley, played by Simona Brown, her boss Dr.David Ferguson  played by Tom Bateman, and the boss's wife, Adele Ferguson, played by Eve Hewson. An incredible casting on Netflix's behalf!

The storyline of why Dr.Ferguson cheats on his wife stems from a blast from their past. His wife's parents died from a mysterious house fire; only Adele survived because of David's good luck and timing. Adele went into a care home and met the truest mind-fucker of them all, Rob. Rob was a gay man who suffered from a heroin addiction because he couldn't sleep at night due to his terrors. Rob became too attached to Adele, but to what point is it friendship or pure jealously? Rob was also an astral projector, who outrageously astral projected himself into Adele's body because he didn't believe David was a good guy. So rob, who is now Adele, pumps Rob's former body that Adele is now in with heroin to kill her and frame David, so Rob can forever be with him. David can never leave Adele, who is now Rob, because of the way Rob framed him. Since Louise is currently engaging in a relationship with David, Rob finds out through astral projection and convinces Louise to astral project with him. After Rob astral projects with Louise, he takes the form of her body, kills her, so now that he can finally be with David. But here is the plot twist, Louise was a single mother before David, and now Rob has to find a way to love Louise's kid, so he doesn't blow his cover.

Overall, this show, regardless of how many twists and turns it gave, was incredible. The ending was the layer of icing to the well-done cake! As I said before, I didn't like some parts, but there were so many other good parts! The Weekly Binge & Review rates 'Behind Her Eyes' a solid 8/10.
